DEMIÀN BICHIR NOMINATED FOR AN OSCAR AS BEST ACTOR IN “A BETTER LIFE”

Today Mexican actor  Demián Bichir was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Actor category for his role as an undocumented landscaper in the 2011 film A Better Life.  Director Chris Weitz told OurTiempo.com “today the academy recognized not only Demian’s great performance but eleven million people to whom they gave a voice.“
